Shelley McBride is founder of McBride College Planning and is a member of HECA (Higher Education Consultants Assoc.) and PNACAC (Pacific Northwest Assoc. of College Admission Counseling). Through these professional educational groups, McBride stays up-to-date on higher education news and trends and has access to a wealth of knowledge through networking with her colleagues in the college admission counseling field.

Previously employed as Parent Involvement Coordinator for Head Start, Inc. developing parent education programs, including Bright Futures introducing low-income parents to local college options.
Local volunteer leader and supporter of educational and non-profit groups. Served on advisory boards for educational groups.
B.A. degree in Communication Arts & Psychology.
Her experience includes admission to Ivy League schools, selective liberal arts colleges, WUE programs at public universities, honors programs, as well as competitive major programs.
